Dr. Claudette Macklin is an internal medicine physician at MetroSouth Medical Center, located in the Morgan Park health center.  Dr. Macklin grew up in the Chatham neighborhood and has lived in Chicago her whole life, except while attending University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana for undergraduate studies.  She attended Rush University Medical School and has her master’s degree in public health from University of Illinois at Chicago.  Dr. Macklin specializes in women’s health and the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, including diabetes and hypertension.  Dr. Macklin enjoys reading, skiing, traveling and spending time with her 14-year-old twins.
