Beginning May 10, southside student-athletes have an opportunity to get a convenient physical examination and receive a free ticket to a 2010 season Windy City Thunderbolts game (while supplies last). The complete exams are provided by experienced MetroSouth Medical Center family practice physicians (in conjunction with SportlinkUSA) and fulfill school requirements for student-athlete physicals. Appointments can be made at any of the eighteen school locations by visiting www.sportlinkusa.com.
“For those students who have outgrown their pediatrician, this is a really easy way for them to get their required school physicals from a family medicine physician in their neighborhood,” explains Dr. Mario Piverger, MetroSouth Health Center at South Holland family practice physician. “The free Thunderbolts ticket is our way of saying thanks and have a healthy summer,” he adds.
